Pathway™ Senior Living communities offer older adults of moderate to modest means the opportunity to apply for and enjoy the comfort and freedom that comes with living in an affordable, well-appointed apartment home with amenities and convenient support services all at a price they can afford.
In Illinois and at designated Pathway Senior Living communities, the Supportive Living financial assistance program is open to an Illinois resident age 65 and older who:
- undergoes pre-admission screening
- is without a primary or secondary diagnosis of developmental disability or serious and persistent mental illness
- has income no less than the current maximum allowable amount of Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- has had a tuberculosis test that indicates the absence of active tuberculosis
- is not participating in the Department on Aging's Community Care Program or the Department of Human Services Home Services Program.
