Supportive Living Week
May 01

Help us celebrate our positive memorable experiences as community members of a supportive living facility during Supportive Living Week. There are exciting events happening every day and each day has a special "spirit" theme, so make sure you dress for the occasion.
The following are the clothing themes for the week:
26th—”Men in Black” Day: Wear ALL black and sunglasses.
27th—”Creative Hat Day”: Wear the most unique and interesting hat you own.
28th—”Name Day”: Wear a name tag and introduce yourself to as many people as you can. Participate in various name games
29th—”Sports Team Day”: Wear a jersey or shirt of your favorite sport or team
30th—”Denim Day”: Wear as much denim as you can-pants, shirts, jackets, hats; also wear your Supportive Living Week shirt if you purchased one.
The following are the events scheduled for the week:
26th—Morning activities with Vital Wellnes 9:30-11:30; Alcohol Awareness Discussion, Exercise & Bingo
27th—2pm:SLW Kick-off celebration w/entertainment by Floyd Andrews; 3:30:Balloon Launch
28th—10:30: Atlas Choral Ensembel Performance; 1-6pm:Open House/Resident Art Show
29th—9:30-5: Doubles Wii Bowling Tournament (residents & staff)
30th—6pm-8pm: Juke Joint Party

Arts & Crafts
Starting March 04
(Community Room, 1:15pm-3pm) Wednesdays
Residents at Roseland meet weekly for arts & crafts where we have been working on different items we can display and sell at our arts & crafts fair in June. This month our featured project is Cat Making, where we will make miniature stuffed cat companions. The project involves a little bit of everything with tracing, cutting, painting, sewing and stuffing. Join us Wednesdays from 1:15pm-3:00pm. We will be meeting on Tuesday, March 10th in place of Wednesday, March 11th.

Description: Join us for our weekly sing-a-long featuring one of our own residents playing our favorite tunes on the piano. Songbooks are provided but new suggestions are always welcome!
