3.    Plants Boost Mental Well-Being.
The article states that houseplants can help to improve healing times, increase happiness and ward off feelings of depression and isolation. The article even states that houseplants help us feel more at home, gives us a sense of purpose and accomplishment as well as feeds our bodies and souls. 

4.    They Can Improve Productivity.
According to the article, plants boost the brain and increase productivity by up to 15 percent. This is likely because they calm stress, promote well-being and improve the ability to be creative and focus on tasks. 

How to Add a Little Outside to Your Inside and Freshen Up Your Days!

If you want to enjoy the benefits of indoor plants, consider some of the various ways you can bring them in and boost your health!  

•    Consume Some Delicious Plants.
It may sound weird at first, but various plant-based items such as cucumber and mint water, ham and dandelion soup and even lavender tea can be delicious ways to use plants you grow and find. Consider planting some of these in pots so you can enjoy them often.

•    Get Fresh-Cut Flowers.
Flowers can be a great way to brighten up not only your mood but your space as well! Get some blooms and either plant them to keep them for longer or simply have them decorate your table. 

•    Begin an Indoor Garden.
